J. Tucker Utility Construction was established in 1991 by Jackie and Phyllis Tucker. The company specialized in communication utility construction in the DFW area. They started with a single construction and repair contract with a large telecommunications company in late 1991. Their son Jason Tucker began working with them a year later and together they expanded their services with the telecommunications company to include their first buried drop contract in 1992. The original office began in their home and 3 short years later moved into a small office in Caddo Mills, Texas. In 2003, the company was purchased by Jason and Tammy Tucker. They changed the name to J. Tucker Construction, Inc. The company continued to grow its communication utility business with additional contracts with several other telecommunication and internet service providers. J Tucker Construction, Inc. continues to expand and in February of 2013 relocated to a larger office and construction yard in Greenville, Texas.
